Cricut Cartridges

My kids room is all decked out with the theme of "Cars". I have a bunch of ideas running through my head of how I want to decorate their walls. One idea is to use the Cars Cricut shaped cartridge and cut out the characters using the vinyl. So, for right now, that cartridge is on my wish list.

If you have a Cricut, check out these upcoming new releases:

Kitchen & Bath Décor: This cartridge contains numerous shapes, blackout and shadow features to decorate and sophisticate any kitchen or bathroom. Crafters can cut shapes in vinyl or use as a stencil for painting to easily decorate any home.

European Décor: Designed to bring elegance into the home, European Décor includes borders, icons and phrases that can be combined to add a bit of timeless beauty to any room.

Stamping Solutions: Designer Kollette Hall created this cartridge for use with the Cricut Stamp Kit. Included shapes, blackouts and shadow features lend themselves well to layering on cards, stamping on fabric, or simple embellishments for the wall or a piece of furniture.

Ashlyn’s Alphabet: This font cartridge has four beautiful fonts showcasing numbers, punctuation, icons and shadows. Unique to this cartridge is the ability to create special letters and characters that allow users to create words in French, Spanish, German, Dutch and many other languages.

A Child’s Year: “Cherish the simple things” is the motto of this cartridge. The cartridge celebrates the special moments in childhood and features over 100 intricately designed images, layers and accessory images, all with coordinating cards and tags.

Sports Mania: For all sports fans, this cartridge includes icons, frames, borders and full-page cutouts. It also includes six creative features, letting crafters personalize each image for their athlete.
Calligraphy Collection: Perfect for all paper crafting and home décor needs, this cartridge holds simplistically elegant letters, phrases, icons, cards and envelopes

"Believe" Album

My current project right now is my "Believe" album that my parents got me for Christmas. I acutally have a ga-zillion projects "in-the-works" but I really want to get this one done. It's a pretty simple project, covering the letters is what is taking me the most time. I used Stickles to add some, "oomph" to it. I intend to add my favorite pictures from this past Christmas to it. I'll be posting the finished project soon. We just moved, so all my scrapbook stuff is still in boxes!

Project 365: Day 11

Saying Goodbye to Daddy/First Shower
Had a hard time deciding what picture to use today. First one is the boys and Daddy, he left today to return to the slope up in Alaska for 3-weeks. Second one is my son's first shower. He has always taken bubble baths, but in our new house, our guest bath only has a shower and he has been asking to, "take a shooowur" So, we let him. He did pretty good, bathed himself and dried off. He didn't like the fact of having to get out, but I didn't want my water bill to be insanely high either!

Project 365: Day 9

Outrageous Octupus...
My mother-in-law got this book for my boys this past Christmas. Each page has a different character and as you can see there is a whole in the middle of the book where you put your face. It's so cute. My youngest son, Preston was having fun looking at himself in the mirror with the book up to his face.

Project 365: Day 7

Photographer in Training
I have been letting Titan use our old digital camera seeing that we bought a new one. Tonight I was taking pictures of the kids and the new house and I wanted a shot from a lower angle, so I laid on the floor and as I did, so did Titan. So, I figured, "Sweet, a perfect picture opportunity for my project!"

Project 365: Day 6

Moving Day
Today was the first day of our move to the new house!

Project 365: Day 5

New Years Kiss
A little bit of humor behind this picture. This was probably the sixth take on it. At first, my "camera man" didn't have the flash on, so the pic turned out blurry and the next four shots were due to "shaky-hand", FINALLY (before the clocked turned to 12:01) we got a pic.

If at first you don't succeed...

TRY, TRY AGAIN! I have been trying to order the Project 365 kit since 8 o'clock this morning. They were having technical difficulties over at CK. Sometimes it would say the kit was out of stock, other times it would just freeze at the first step... but FINALLY, I was able to order it.

Keep checking back on Becky Higgins' blog, as she is keeping everyone updated often.

Hope you all will be able to order it, if your still considering it, time is running out. This kit is in high demand, and it will not last long.
