"First Christmas" LO- Part 2

"First Christmas" LO- Part 1

I put this LO together earlier this evening. It is my oldest ds's 1st Christmas. This will be a 2 page LO but I haven't started the first page yet. I am trying to finish up his "First Year Album" so, one page down & forever more to go.

I decided to go with a photo block and then have a button border, I wanted to pull the bright colors from the pic onto my LO! Off I go to start the first page for this spread!

New Storage

I picked these up at JoAnn's today! They were on clearance, 50% off! I got all 4 of them for under $6.00, what a deal! I just love the colors & print of them. I'll post later on what I use them for!

L- Lived in Alaska for most of life, just moved to Washington 2 years ago and am moving back to Alaska at the end of April.
Y- Young, Married & a Mommy! Had my son at 19!
N- Neat- I am a very organized person and too much of a perfectionist!!
N- Never been to the East coast- I would love to see that side of the country sometime in my life!

Altered Idea & Address Book

I found these 2 books at Wal-Mart on clearance. They came as a set and were marked down to $2.50! One of them is a journal (big one) and the other is an address book. I really liked the look of them and am totally into brown, so I had to buy them. I just thought they needed some "love" SO, I put a few things on them to add some character! The journal I plan on using to store ideas, tips, sketches, etc. The address book I am going to use for all the CKMB members contact info that I have acquired through swaps, RAKs, etc. Here is how they turned out:

Christmas in February??!!

I just got my order from Oriental Trading in the mail today, and I am so excited. All these new goodies to work with! I got all these on sale plus free shipping! Woo hoo!

Jo*Ann DOLLAR Finds

I stopped in at JoAnns on my way home and came across some AWESOME $1 finds. I got 5 clear stamps, and these really cute "boy" themed papers and embellishments. I can't wait to create some LO's using the goodies I found.

Another Valentines Day Card

Outside View

I have been working on this card for the past few hours. It's a tri-fold but rather then it fold side to side, it folds up & down.

Inside View

I made a envelope on the bottom of the card, which holds my "greeting" I added a chipboard heart with a rub-on to make it look more fancy! The "XOXO" and the box that it's in are also rub-ons (oh how I love those things)

QVC Paper Crafting Fair

Who's watching? It has been on since 9pm pacific time, and oh my gosh am I in trouble! I am really trying to have some control, but gosh all that new stuff is so tempting! Here is what I have ordered so far:
